Whitehall Court

A once in a generation opportunity to purchase the 'farm' next door

The Farmers Club has a unique opportunity to make an offer to purchase the lease of a significant adjoining part of Whitehall Court including a new, imposing, ground floor entrance exclusive to The Farmers Club. This entrance, with the address One Horse Guards Avenue, is photographed above.

With the new space the Club could create 18 much needed new en-suite bedrooms, taking the total to 70; have a larger dining-room; and utilise the other spacious rooms - with views over the Thames or along Horse Guards Avenue – for functions, meetings, seminars and even conferences. The Club is currently turning away social and business events because space is constrained.

We hope all Members agree that this purchase is an exceptional opportunity to develop the Club in a way which will benefit us and our successors for many years to come and enhance farming's footprint in the heart of Whitehall.

Chairman's Comments

I have to say I am fully supportive of the trustees. It is a great opportunity for the Club. We simply cannot stand still. But we do need to be cognisant of the need for the finances to be absolutely right. Affordability is the key.
